The present invention relates to an environment-friendly sidewalk block manufacturing method and a sidewalk block thereof. For 100 parts by weight of gravel, the sidewalk block includes: 20 to 50 parts by weight of sand; 20 to 35 parts by weight of steel slag; 3 to 7 parts by weight of available silica; 10 to 13 parts by weight of active alkali gypsum; 7 to 13 parts by weight of the waste limestone; 9-21 parts by weight of fine ocher; 2 to 5 parts by weight of surface modified calcium carbonate; and 5 to 15 weight-part of silicate glass powder. The present invention utilizes the inorganic binder comprising the active treated waste limestone, silicate glass powder, and fine ocher to loosely connect the body unit including natural sand and gravel and the core unit including the steel slag, available silica, and recycled gypsum to manufacture the environment-friendly non- cement sidewalk block with excellent strength without emitting carbon dioxide. |
