摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a power steering and, more specifically, to a hybrid power steering using turbocharger high pressure and manifold negative pressure and a method for providing steering power thereof. The power steering includes: an intercooler mounted between a turbine and an intake manifold; a gear box including a cylinder that is provided on one side, and provides secondary steering power by being compressed by receiving air from the intercooler or decompressed by discharging air to the intake manifold such that a first piston and a second piston provided in the cylinder can move laterally; and an MDPS power pack provided in a steering column connected to the gear box through a steering shaft, and selectively providing secondary steering power according to driving speed. Therefore, the cylinder provides secondary steering power by being compressed or decompressed, and the MDPS power pack selectively provides secondary steering power, thereby minimizing force required to operate a steering wheel.</p>
