<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a low-cost photovoltaic power generation system in which maximum power is extracted from strings of solar cells. The photovoltaic power generation system is provided with: a solar cell array having multiple solar cell strings formed by connecting multiple solar cell modules in a series, and constituted by connecting the multiple solar cell strings in a series; a DC/DC converter circuit that is connected to the solar cell array; an MPPT control unit that outputs a controls signal to the DC/DC converter circuit and controls the operating voltage of the solar cell array; and multiple multipliers that are connected in a series to each of the multiple solar cell strings. Each of the multiple multipliers has a bipolar transistor, a first resistor between the base and emitter of the bipolar transistor, and a second resistor between the base and a collector.</p> |
