A repellent or an insecticide has an active ingredient from a pyrethroid group located in a container of a smoke shell. The smoke shell contains a combustible smoke generating mixture and the lighter (3) touching the mixture. This mixture is in contact with the active ingredient in such a way that during the combustion the active ingredient is significantly evaporated and/or sublimated, and subsequently carried by the resulting smoke to the space outside the container (1). The active ingredient forms from 0, 1 % to 25% of the mass of the smoke generating mixture. Preferably, the active ingredient is a combination of two substances, more preferably one substance forms up to 5% of the mass of the smoke generating mixture and other forms up to 20% of the mass of the mixture. The smoke functions not only as a carrier, but it reliably delimits the scope of the treatment. After the smoke settles, the active ingredients are spread on the surfaces and objects in the treated area, they are not in the air and a person can freely move in the treated area. |
