In order to prevent the propellant gases from flowing past the practice projectile (1) on the outside within the weapon barrel, a sealing system (10) is provided in the area of the solid head part (3) of the practice projectile (1), wherein a sealing ring (11) engages into an annular groove (12), which is designed preferably as a conical seat, in the rear section of the head part (3).
