<p>An image forming apparatus (100) of the present disclosure includes a developing device (4), a support frame (41), a developer supply mechanism (70), and a shutter member (80). The developing device (4) has a developer bearing member (25) that supplies a developer to the image bearing member (1). The support frame (41) is capable of disposing the developing device (4) selectively at a mounting/demounting position and at a developing position. The shutter member (80) opens a replenishment port (71) formed at the developer supply mechanism (70) in tandem with the movement of the developing device (4) from the mounting/demounting position to the developing position and closes the replenishment port (71) in tandem with the movement of the developing device (4) from the developing position to the mounting/demounting position. A direction in which the developing device (4) is moved is different from a direction in which the shutter member (80) performs the opening/closing of the replenishment port (71).
