<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cab front guard combined step for a construction machine, capable of improving its maintenance working efficiency by selectively changing the height of a foothold using the step. <P>SOLUTION: A step 1 comprises an upper step part 1b and a lower step part 1a mutually separative at a midway portion, the lower step part 1a being turnable with a hinge 2 as a supporting point. When using a lever 5a for lifting a hook 5 up to a position as illustrated, the step 1 is opened frontward of a cab 14 with its deadweight and it can be used as a foothold with a stopper 1 fixed at an approximately horizontal position where a stopper 4 abuts on a lower frame 3 of the cab. Besides, when the upper step part 1b is only turned, the step 1 can be used with the upper step part 1b displaced to a higher foothold position. When the step 1 is closed to the front face side of the cab 14, the step 1 can also be used as a cab front guard with the lever 5a lowered to fix a protruded portion of the step 1 with a hook 5, while being prevented from being opened with its deadweight or external force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
