PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power supply and a power storage system using the DC power supply, capable of utilizing more effectively a plurality of batteries having variation in performance.SOLUTION: The DC power supply includes a first connection device 3 in which a battery selected from among a plurality of batteries (typically secondary battery) and a DC/DC conversion circuit 2 are connected mutually. The DC/DC conversion circuit 2 includes a plurality of capacitors C1 to C4 and a second connection device 20. In the second connection device 20, capacitors can be connected together in parallel or in series, and following steps are repeated: a step in which the capacitors charged by the battery in parallel connection are switched to serial connection to be discharged and output to the outside; and a step in which the capacitors charged by an external voltage in serial connection are switched to parallel connection to be discharged and output for charging a battery. |
