<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for estimating reflected sound information from a sound pickup signal. <P>SOLUTION: A signal (observation signal) obtained by converting M sound pickup signals obtained by picking up a voice signal with M microphones into frequency regions is used. Direction and complex amplitude determined based on the position in space corresponding to a function (transfer characteristic function) obtained by simulating the transfer characteristic for each frequency between any position in the space and each microphone, are estimated so that the power of a residual signal obtained by subtracting, from the observation signal, the result of multiplying the transfer characteristic function by the complex amplitude is minimum. The estimated direction is set as the incoming direction of the reflected sound, and the estimated complex amplitude is set as the incoming amplitude of the reflected sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
