<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine-operating device to be configured so as to effectively suppress abrasion or the like of components due to displacement and retention of an operating part, and to extend the product life. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine operating device 10 is configured as follows: when the relative position of the operating part 20 to a fixed base part 40 comes to a prescribed attraction position, a first magnetic part 21 and a second magnetic part 42 face and attract each other, so as to retain the operating part 20 at the attraction position; and when the operating part 20 at the attraction position is operated, the second magnetic part 42 moves relatively to the lateral side intersecting with the orientation opposite to the first magnetic part 21.
