摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus that can reduce data transfer rate while keeping the apparatus from increasing in size. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving unit 205 generates first sampling data by performing sampling at a first sampling frequency from reception signals obtained at a plurality of transducers 204. A phasing addition unit 206 subjects the first sampling data obtained by the receiving unit 205 to phasing addition to obtain sound ray data. An envelope detection unit 207 detects an envelope from the sound ray data obtained by the phasing addition unit 206. A sampling unit 208 performs sampling at a second sampling frequency from the envelope detected by the envelope detection unit 207 to obtain second sampling data.
