<p>PURPOSE: A compressor is provided to prevent the deformation of the edge of the cylinder block adjacent to a cylinder bore by enhancing the strength of the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder block by a reinforcing part. CONSTITUTION: A compressor comprises a cylinder block(100), a front housing(120), a driving shaft(140), a rear housing(130), and a valve assembly(150). The cylinder block comprises a center bore(102) and a plurality of cylinder bores(102a). The front housing is installed at one end of the cylinder block and comprises a shaft hole(123). The front housing is coupled with the cylinder block to form a crank chamber(121). The driving shaft transfers the power for enabling the linear reciprocating motion of the piston(110) and is pivotally installed passing through the center bore of the cylinder block and the shaft hole of the front housing. The rear housing comprises an intake room(131) and a discharge room(133). The valve assembly selectively communicates with the cylinder bore and the intake room and the discharge room of the rear housing. A protruded reinforcing part(103) is formed at the edge of the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder bore of the cylinder block which faces the rear housing.</p> |
