<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint metal fitting for a wooden building and a connection structure of a column and a beam in the wooden building, for easily inserting an insertion part to a connection groove even when positions of the insertion part and the connection groove are somewhat shifted. <P>SOLUTION: A width dimension of the connection groove 21 is gradually reduced from an upper part to a lower part, and the width dimension of the insertion part 41 is also gradually reduced from the upper part to the lower part corresponding to a shape of the connection groove 21. The width dimension of an upper end part of the connection groove 21 is larger than a lower end part of the insertion part 41, and in a state of inserting the lower end part of the insertion part 41 to the upper end part of the connection groove 21, a gap is formed between a side face of the insertion part 41 and the side face of the connection groove 21.
