<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elasto-plastic brace vibration isolation structure that is compact and simple in constitution, can surely absorb an earthquake force while permitting displacement resulting from the thermal expansion of a construction, and can prevent an excessively large load from being applied to a connecting member due to the generation of a large impact force on the occurrence of an earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: Elasto-plastic braces 10 are arranged in a line-symmetrical position via the connecting member 6 which surrounds a boiler steel column 5 being a construction-side holding member, and the transmission of the load caused by the earthquake which is transmitted to a bridge construction steel column 3 being a fixed member from the boiler steel column 5 by the elasto-plastic braces 10 via the connecting member 6 is simultaneously performed by the compression of one elasto-plastic brace 10 and the tension of the other elasto-plastic brace 10. A guide means 24 which fills a clearance between the boiler steel column 5 and the connecting member 6, and guides the relative movement of the bridge construction steel column 3 in the axial direction accompanied by the thermal expansion of a boiler body as a construction is interposed between the boiler steel column 5 and the connecting member 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
