<p>The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing high purity manganese compounds and high purity potassium sulfate from low purity materials containing manganese and potassium. The method for manufacturing high purity manganese compounds and high purity potassium sulfate from low purity materials containing manganese and potassium comprises: a step of separating a first solid and a first potassium leachate containing potassium by a first solid and liquid separation after adding water to the low purity materials containing manganese and potassium; a step of removing a first impurity by adding a sulfide to the first potassium leachate and manufacturing high purity potassium sulfate by using sulfuric acid; a step of removing a second impurity by using at least one among calcium hydroxide and sulfide after transforming the first solid into manganese sulfate by adding sulfuric acid and performing calcination and obtaining a manganese leachate through a second solid and liquid separation; and a step of manufacturing high purity manganese compounds from the manganese leachate. Accordingly, the present invention is capable of economically manufacturing high purity manganese compounds (manganese sulfate monohydrate, trimanganese tetraoxide, and electronic manganese metal (EMM)) and high purity potassium sulfate from low purity materials containing manganese and potassium through a single process at the same time.</p> |
