PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a transfer rate even if a recording/reproducing layer of an optical recording medium is multi-layered.SOLUTION: When recording information on an optical recording medium 10 having a plurality of recording/reproducing layers, a first recording operation of recording information by irradiating, with a first recording/reproducing beam 170A, a first recording/reproducing layer 14 from a first surface 10A and a second recording operation of recording information by irradiating, with a second recording/reproducing beam 170B, a second recording/reproducing layer 34 from a second surface 30A are simultaneously carried out, and thereby the lamination order of the first recording/reproducing layer 14 from the first surface 10A side in a first recording/reproducing operation is the same as the lamination order from the center side of the second recording/reproducing layer 34 in a direction of thickness in a second recording/reproducing operation. |
