PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery having excellent high-rate charge/discharge characteristics.SOLUTION: The electrode for the lithium ion secondary battery, using a positive electrode active material made by causing a phosphoric acid transition metal lithium with a carbon coating film formed on a surface thereof to contain an activated charcoal of 0.5 to 30.0 mass%, is characterized in that coverage of the carbon coating film is 0.1 to 10 mass% with respect to 100 mass% of the phosphoric acid transition metal lithium. |
