<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning apparatus capable of stabilizing the contrast electric potential of an image carrying body and forming a stable image while being reduced in density variation and line thinning. <P>SOLUTION: At the emission of a semiconductor laser 4, an electric current (Isw1-ΔIsw) corresponding to a value obtained by subtracting a switching correction value 72 reduced from a switching electric current code value 55 is formed as a switching electric current Isw. In addition, an electric current (Ib0+ΔIb) corresponding to a value obtained by adding a bias correction value 73 to a bias electric current code value 57 is formed as a bias electric current Ib. The switching electric current Isw and the bias electric current Ib are added, and the value is fed to a semiconductor laser 4 as a drive electric current Id. The drive electric current Id is constant. On the other hand, at the turn-off of the semiconductor laser 4, only the electric current (Ib0+ΔIb) corresponding to the value obtained by adding the bias correction value 73 to the bias electric current code value 57 is fed to the semiconductor laser 4 as the drive electric current Id. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
