<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay having a contact spring capable of being commonly used as a movable contact point part without limitation of the width or the thickness of the contact spring, and having an excellent resistance property between the movable contact point part and the contact spring. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay comprises a movable contact point part 2 including two movable contact points 4 and a folded part 5 to which the two movable contact points 4 are fixed. The folded part 5 including a tip end portion 3a of a contact spring 3 is formed by folding the tip end portion 3a of the contact spring 3. Accordingly, the contact spring 3 can be commonly used as the movable contact point part 3 without limitation of the width or the thickness of the contact spring 3 to eliminate the need of a conductor plate which has been used in a conventional electromagnetic relay, thereby allowing reduction in cost. Further, the movable contact point part 2 formed of the contact spring 3 contributes to an excellent resistance property, thereby allowing reduction in heat generation of the relay. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
