<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor in which a channel region between a source electrode and a drain electrode in a conductor layer has a crystalline phase and which realizes electrical separation between semiconductor elements compared with one in which a second region other than the channel region in the semiconductor layer has a non-crystalline phase. <P>SOLUTION: An organic transistor 10 includes a gate electrode 14G, a gate insulating film 16, a source electrode 18S, a drain electrode 18D, and a semiconductor layer 20 on a substrate 12. A channel region 20A between the source electrode 18S and the drain electrode 18D in the semiconductor layer 20 has a crystalline phase.
