摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a comparison electrode for a COD testing apparatus which detects a supply and a non-supply of a chemical liquid involved with a reaction to generate a signal, thereby accurately determining the supply of the chemical liquid. In a state wherein a detection electrode is immersed in the chemical liquid to create a decomposition condition of an organic matter and a copper wire for measuring use; the comparison electrode is configured to send a supply state signal and a non-supply state signal of the chemical liquid through a liquid junction potential generating between the copper wire and the detection electrode. The comparison electrode does not affect the reaction, and generates a potential signal in accordance to the presence or absence of the chemical liquid; thereby allowing the testing apparatus to easily determine the supply of the chemical liquid. Therefore, it is possible to initially respond to an abnormal supply or shortage of the chemical liquid.</p>
