SENSOR POSITIONING SYSTEM AND SCHEME CONSIDERING HOLES IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS

<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for measuring a sensor location considering holes in a wireless sensor network environment. The method includes the steps of: inspecting density and detecting hole-boundary nodes to detect holes in a wireless sensor network environment; spreading a collection message of anchor node location information and the number of accumulation hole-boundary nodes and estimating a distance among the nodes to correct a location error by the holes; and correcting a distance error based on the number of the accumulation hole-boundary nodes. According to the present invention, the method is capable of: minimizing the infrastructure construction costs by using the fewest anchor nodes (four) which are reference nodes of positioning in a sensor network among existing sensor node positioning methods in the sensor network; effectively detecting holes by a method for detecting hole-boundary nodes by applying the properties of reducing peripheral sensor node density of sensor nodes adjacent to the holes in a sensor network environment including the holes; and obtaining high quality location measurement results even in the sensor network environment where there is the holes by a density probability modeling method for estimating a distance by applying the properties of density having different node distances.</p>
