A connector can be connected to an object which has a sheet shape or a plate shape having an end part. The connector includes a base member, a contact, and an actuator. The contact is supported by a base member. The actuator is supported by the base member to be opened/closed. The actuator selectively takes a contact point protection position, an opening position, and a support position. If the actuator reaches the contact point protection position when the object is not loaded on the loading surface, at least a part of the position of a protection part is lower than that of the loading surface in a vertical direction, and also the protection part covers a temporary contact point part in case of looking at the connector in a horizontal direction. |
