<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for identifying an object. The apparatus includes: a main body joined with a storage container, which contains a reagent for identifying a substance constituting the object; a pressing part for pressing the storage container; a spraying part which sprays the reagent on the object as the pressing part presses the storage container; and a power supplying part which contacts the object and supplies electric power in order to let a color of the reagent be changed according to the substance constituting the object. According to the present invention, the apparatus is formed to enable a user to confirm whether the object is made of a substance appropriate for purpose of use, location of use, and so on based on color change of the regent sprayed on the object. Therefore, correctness and easiness of a process for confirming whether the object is made of a substance appropriate for purpose of use, location of use, and so on can be increased.</p> |
