<p>A disc assembly 1 has a central hub 2 having an opening 3 at its bottom and an internal shaft-receiving sleeve 4. The sleeve 4 is adapted to engage a driven shaft an electric food processor. A circular disc portion 5 is attached at one end of the hub 2. The disc portion 5 includes a slanted portion 6 that forms a step so that the disc portion on one side of the slanted portion 6 is not co- planar with the disc portion on the other side of the slanted portion 6. A series of three holes 7, 8, 9, are arranged to each extend from a position in the slanted portion 6 to a position in the adjacent disc portion 5 in order to span across the trailing edge 17 of the slanted portion 6.</p> |
