<p>The invention relates to a laparoscopic surgical instrument comprising a base body (1) lengthened in a longitudinal direction, a handle (2) fixed to the proximal end of the base body (1), and a gripping surgical tool (3) fixed to the distal end of the base body (1). A protecting tip (4) is mounted in such a way that it can slide along an outer surface of the base body (1), between a distal protection position wherein said protecting tip (4) covers the gripping tool (3), and a proximal working position wherein the protecting tip (4) leaves the gripping tool (3) exposed. A spring (5) is configured and arranged in such a way that it is deformed and stores energy when the protecting tip (4) is moved from said distal protection position to said proximal working position, and frees said energy in order to push the protecting tip (4) back to the distal protection position.</p> |
