Provided is an apparatus for enhancing power efficiency. The apparatus for enhancing power efficiency includes a magnetic body which generates a magnetic field, a wire which passes through the magnetic field and is directly connected to one end of a power line applied to AC voltage, and a control part which is connected to the other end of the wire, applies the same AC voltage as the AC voltage applied to the power line to the wire, and prevents the overcurrent of the wire. The wire includes a conductive plate. The conductive plate is separated from the magnetic body in a space for forming the magnetic field. The first width of the conductive plate is wider than that of the wire.
