METHOD FOR REGULATING OPENING OR SHUTTING OF INNER-PORE OF ORGANIC NANOTUBE

The present invention relates to a method for adjusting the opening and closing of inner pores of a natural nanotube. According to embodiments of the present invention, molecules of the natural nanotube act as nanovalves which can act in an aqueous solution and in a physiological condition. When the pH indicates that the aqueous solution or the physiological condition is acidic, the natural tubes are coagulated and close pores of others. When the pH indicates that the aqueous solution or the physiological condition is alkali, interaction between the molecules of the natural nanotubes becomes weak; the nanovalves are maintained to be open; and thus, an agent or gas molecules can exude from the natural nanotubes. Therefore, the method can be advantageously used to adjust the release of the agent or the gas by pH difference.
