<p>The present invention relates to an auto-tensioner capable of adjusting tension of a belt connected to an engine of a vehicle. The auto-tensioner comprises: an outer housing which is filled with oil, is formed in a cylindrical shape, and has an opened upper part; a cylinder which is indented to be fixed to the internal lower part of the outer housing and has an opened upper part; a piston rod which is installed to be vertically slid moved along the inside of the cylinder; a valve seat which is indented to be coupled to the lower part of the piston rod, and has a through hole formed to be penetrated at the lower center to be communicated with an oil fluid passage vertically formed along the coupling surface with the piston rod and an annular seat rib formed to protrude along the lower outer circumference; a check valve which is inserted to be coupled to the inside of the seat rib of the valve seat and opens/closes the through hole of the valve seat; a piston housing which has an opened lower part and the outer circumferential surface installed to be vertically slid moved along the upper inner circumferential surface of the outer housing, and indents the upper end of a piston to be fixed to the internal upper part thereof; a return spring which is inserted along the inner circumferential surface of the outer housing to allow the lower end thereof to be supported by the outer housing and to allow the upper end thereof to be elastically supported by the piston housing; and an oil seal which has the upper end coupled to the outer housing and the lower end coupled to the piston housing, the seat rib of the valve seat has multiple slot grooves which are radially formed to prevent an air trap from being generated by air collected therein.</p> |
