<p>The present invention relates to a wide angle lens system which has compact and lightweight with high resolution for cameras such as the camera of a mobile communications terminal, a camera mounted on a computer, and a camera for a vehicle, and which can widely obtain the image information of surroundings at the same time. The wide angle lens system comprises a meniscus type first glass lens having negative refractive power and convexly protruding toward an object; a meniscus type second plastic lens having the negative refractive power and convexly protruding toward the object; a meniscus type third plastic lens having positive refractive power and convexly protruding toward the object; an aperture; and a fourth plastic lens having the positive refractive power and convexly protruding toward the object. Those are successively arranged from the object. According to the composition, the present invention can reduce manufacturing costs by restricting to use only one glass lens while reducing the number of the lenses, and can provide the wide angle lens system having a wide angle, the high resolution, and the small size.</p> |
