The present invention relates to a nail clipper and, more particularly, to a nail clipper preventing cut-off nails from scattering when cutting nails by allowing the cut-off nails to be received inside the nail clipper. The nail clipper includes lower and upper cutting blades which are disposed to vertically face each other at a front end; a body having an interior receiving space of which a front portion is opened by a gap between the lower and upper cutting blades; and a push bar which is disposed at an upper part of the body and causes the lower and upper cutting blades to be in contact with each other by leverage. Herein, the body includes a lower body having a lower plate, two side plates protruding upwardly at both sides of the lower plate, and the lower cutting blade formed at the front end of the lower plate; an upper body having an upper plate disposed at upper inner portions of the two side plates, fixed parts which are formed at both sides of a rear end of the upper plate and respectively fixed at the center of the two side plates, and the upper cutting blade formed at the front end of the upper plate; and a cover which is disposed at the rear of the upper body, and is coupled to the side plates to be opened and closed, so that a rear end of the receiving space is opened upwardly at opening. The nail clipper according to the present invention may not only prevent cut-off nails from scattering by collecting the cut-off nails into a receiving space of a body, but also easily discharge the nails collected in the receiving space by opening the receiving space of the body. |
