The present invention relates to a mobile terminal comprising an agent and to a control method thereof. The mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a control unit that includes one or more agents extracting information containing the use pattern of a user related to a predetermined keyword from use record data of the mobile terminal; and a display unit that differently outputs an icon corresponding to each agent according to the information related to each agent. The agent controls that an object corresponding to the information extracted by the agent is outputted to the display unit, and a part of the information extracted by the agent can be deleted or newly inputted information can be added.
