The present invention relates to a cooling system for a control unit used in a wire cut electric discharging machine comprising: a sewage tank which stores contaminated processing solutions; a clean water tank insulated from the sewage tank; a main filter (M/F) which inhales sewage from the sewage tank through a first pump (P1), and filters and sends the sewage to the clean water tank; and a first cooling device which intakes water from the clean water tank to send the water to a processing solution tank, and cools the water in the clean water tank. The purpose of the present invention is to prevent unnecessary cooling in a work space by effectively lowering an internal heat generated by the operation of the control unit.
