The present invention provides a new aromatic amine derivative having excellent luminous efficiency and durability; and an organic electroluminescent device comprising the aromatic amine derivative in an organic layer and thus having a low driving voltage and improved luminous efficiency. Provided is an aromatic amine derivative represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, the definition of each substituent is the same as defined in the detailed description of the present invention.
