The present invention relates to a method for installing a large platform forming an LNG carrier. According to the present invention, a method for installing a large platform forming an LNG carrier comprises: an assembling step of assembling and integrating multiple individual units forming the platform; a partitioning step of partitioning the assembled platform (100) into multiple sections, and connecting connection brackets (150) to the sections respectively; a lifting step of lifting the platform (100) by connecting a crane to the connection brackets (150) in the respective sections; and a transferring step of mounting the platform (100) on an installation position in the LNG carrier by transferring the platform (100), wherein the partitioning step allows the weight centers (A′-D′) of the respective sections (A-D) to be calculated to dispersedly install the connection brackets (150) to be symmetrical with respect to the weight centers (A′-D′). According to the present invention, the method is capable of assembling the individual units into the large platform (100) to be mounted on the LNG carrier, so the individual units are not required to be reassembled after separated, thereby allowing man-hour and work time to be reduced to improve efficiency.
