<p>Provided are a method for providing a widget and a TV applying the same. According to the present invention, the method for providing a widget includes a step of searching widgets related to a certain keyword among the widgets provided by a plurality of content providers and a step of displaying the searched widgets in a widget search list classified according to the content providers.
