<p>The present invention provides an apparatus for controlling an electric booster and a method for controlling the same. The apparatus for controlling the electric booster includes: a sensing unit which senses information of pedal stroke to the present pressure generated by a ball screw and a master cylinder when the ball screw moves toward the master cylinder by forward rotation of a motor supplied to an electric booster; a control unit which receives the information of pedal stroke to the present pressure sensed by the sensing unit and contains a range of information of pedal stroke to a predetermined target pressure; a determining unit which determines whether the information of pedal stroke to the present pressure sensed by the sensing unit is within the range of information of pedal stroke to the target pressure according to control of the control unit; and a ball screw initial position setting unit which reversely rotates the motor till the information of pedal stroke to the present pressure sensed by the sensing unit becomes″0″according to control of the control unit, so as to set the ball screw into an initial position state when the determining unit determines that the information of pedal stroke to the present pressure is within the range of information of pedal stroke to the target pressure.</p> |
