<p>This orthogonal modulator (100) has: a first switched-capacitor power amplifier (111) for amplifying a first high-frequency signal; a second switched-capacitor power amplifier (112) for amplifying a second high-frequency signal having a different phase from the first high-frequency signal; a first combining element (131) wherein at least one winding is provided each on the primary side and the secondary side thereof, and the primary-side winding and the secondary-side winding are magnetically coupled with each other, said first combining element (131) combining the amplified first high-frequency signal and the amplified second high-frequency signal, which are input separately from the primary side, and outputting the result as an orthogonally modulated signal from the secondary side; a first inductor (121) which is provided between the first switched-capacitor power amplifier and the primary side of the first combining element; and a second inductor (122) which is provided between the second switched-capacitor power amplifier and the primary side of the first combining element.</p> |
