<p>A mobile terminal (100) comprises: a communication unit (15); a notification unit (16) for providing notification of information to the outside; an operation unit for accepting user operations; a storage unit (31) for storing arrival information related to those ones of arrivals received by the communication unit for which no response operations have been accepted by the operation unit; an information determination unit for determining whether the arrival information has been stored; a grasp detection unit that is located on an outer surface of the housing of the mobile terminal for detecting whether the housing is currently grasped; and a notification control unit that, when having determined, from the detection output of the grasp detection unit, that the housing is currently grasped, controls the notification unit to provide notification of the result of the determination performed by the information determination unit.</p> |
