PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to deliver a deaerator into an adjacent deaerator floor from a turbine floor of a turbine building and to install the deaerator even in situations in which an outdoor crane is unable to be used.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a deaerator installation method includes: a split piece producing step S11 of producing a plurality of split pieces from a deaerator main body barrel into sizes so that each split piece can pass through a plurality of columns built between a turbine floor and a deaerator floor; a temporary cradle installing step S21 of installing a temporary cradle on which the obtained split pieces are mounted in the turbine floor; a split piece delivering step S23 of sequentially delivering the split pieces onto the temporary cradle using a ceiling crane; a pulling-in step S24 of attaching a delivery roller to the split pieces and sequentially pulling the split pieces in the deaerator floor from the temporary cradle; and an assembling step S30 of assembling together the split pieces sequentially pulled in the deaerator floor.
