PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not navigator signals suitable for detecting the position of the edge of the liver have been acquired.SOLUTION: A profile F1 is created on the basis of a navigator signal V1. After the profile F1 is created, the position x1 of the edge of the liver is detected. After the position x1 of the edge of the liver is detected, a region rl located on the side near the position xl of the edge of the liver within a liver region Ra of the profile F1 is identified. Further, a region r2 located on the side near the position xl of the edge of the liver within a lung region Rb of the profile F1 is identified. A sum S1 of signal intensities in the region r1 of the profile F1 and a sum S2 of signal intensities in the region r2 of the profile F1 are calculated. After the sums S1 and S2 of signal intensities are calculated, the quality of the navigator signals acquired from the navigator region is evaluated on the basis of a ratio H=S1/S2.
|
