PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular headlight for reducing its size in the vertical direction and reducing the travel distance of a driving shaft of an actuator in the longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: The vehicular headlight includes a lamp unit 7 having a light source 12, a supporting mechanism 25 for supporting the lamp unit turnably in the vertical direction and turnably in the horizontal direction, and an actuator 26 for turning the lamp unit in the vertical direction and also turning it in the horizontal direction to adjust the emitting direction of light emitted from the light source. The lamp unit is turned in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction with one point inside the lamp unit as a turning supporting point P. This reduces the size in the vertical direction and reduces the travel distance of the driving shaft of the actuator in the longitudinal direction while eliminating the existence of the turning supporting point outside the lamp unit. |
