<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hindrance from being caused to a building plan and suppress an increase in construction cost, when a megalo-earthquake is coped with by controlling deformation of a base isolation layer by making a base-isolated building collide with an object subjected to collision.SOLUTION: In a base-isolated building 10, a base isolation layer 40 is provided between a building 20 and a foundation 30. A protrusion 34 provided in the foundation 30 in such a manner as to protrude to the side of the building 20, and a recess 22 provided on the bottom of the building 20 in such a manner as to have an irregular relationship with the protrusion 34 are provided within the building. A horizontal clearance C2 between the protrusion 34 and the recess 22 is set smaller than a horizontal allowable deformation amount of the base isolation layer 40.</p> |
