The present invention provides a driving gear device that can easily be made compact and lightweight with a simple configuration. A coupling member (12) coaxially couples externally toothed sun gear members (12a, 12b) of first and second planetary gear mechanisms (11a, 11b). External teeth (16b, 17b) are formed on ring gear members (16, 17) of the first and second planetary gear mechanisms (11a, 11b). A first auxiliary gear member (18) having first and third gears (18a, 18b) and a second auxiliary gear member (19) having second and fourth gears (19a, 19b) are rotatably disposed parallel with the rotational center axes of the externally toothed sun gears (12a, 12b) of the first and second planetary gear mechanisms (11a, 11b), so that the first gear (18a) meshes with the external teeth (16b) of the ring gear member (16) of the first planetary gear mechanism (11a), the second gear (19a) meshes with the external teeth (17b) of the ring gear member (17) of the second planetary gear mechanism (11b), and the third and fourth gears (18b, 19b) mesh together. |
