<p>While devices that display an ad on a standby screen in response to a user control input to the standby screen are known, there exists a need for a technology whereby ads can be served to users more efficiently. Provided is an ad server device provided with: a startup command detection unit for detecting a startup command of an app; an app display control unit which, when the startup command detection unit has detected startup of an app, displays in a first display layer an app screen produced by the app; and an ad display control unit which, when the startup command detection unit has detected the startup of an app, displays an ad screen in a second display layer of higher order than the first display layer.</p> |
