<p>Field of use: The field of metal processing, in particular a cutting tool, and specifically replaceable disposable cutting blades. Problem: To increase the durability of a cutting blade, to increase technological performance, and also to bring the design into line with ISO requirements. Core subject matter: A replaceable cutting blade with a locating hole and a convex curvilinear front surface, defined by a parabola, in which the front surface of the blade is provided, over the perimeter along the cutting edges, with a groove for chips to descend with a bottom part formed along the radius r, which is adjoined on one side by the radius R with a cutting edge, and, on the other side, by the convex curvilinear front surface, which is mathematically described by the formula y=√x and is inscribed in the outer dimensions of the blade between the groove and the plane near to the locating hole, wherein the axis x of the parabola is arranged at an angle of 0<α≤15º to the corresponding axis of the cutting blade. The height of the cutting edges corresponds to the thickness of the blade, and the radius of the groove r is less than the interfacing radius R of the cutting edge, wherein the blade, in plan view, can have a circular or polygonal shape. The boundaries of intersection of the parabolic convex curvilinear surfaces y=√x in the polygonal cutting blades are reinforcing ribs. The blade can be double-sided.</p> |
