The present invention discloses a side guide apparatus for a coiling process which includes a pair of body portions placed on upper portions of a plurality of transfer rolls arranged toward a coiling process in a direction crossing the transfer rolls, and being apart from each other to have a strip passed in between; magnetic portions having magnetism, and respectively located inside the body portions to face each other; and spray units respectively located at the body portions to spray water toward the magnetic portions of the opposite body portion to enable the spraying direction to be crossed, wherein foreign substance generated when the strip passes the portion between the body portions is attached on the magnetic portions, and the spray units spray water toward the magnetic portions when the strip is discharged from the portion between the body portions. The side guide apparatus for a coiling process configured as above is capable of preventing scattering of the foreign substance caused by contacting the strip transferred to the coiling process, thereby preventing deterioration in the strip quality due to the foreign substance. |
