1. A portable electronic device comprising:
a first display area provided on a front surface thereof and separated from other areas of the device, and a second display area provided on the front surface and outside the first display area, the first display area being configured to display a plurality of first operation-related images arranged in sequence so as to execute a specific function by touch operation, the second display area being configured to display a plurality of second operation-related images arranged in sequence so as to execute a specific function by touch operation, the first display area being configured to display a first display having the first operation-related images or a second display having the second operation-related images that are not contained in the first display, and the first display being switchable to the second display using a scroll operation by touch operation of one of the second operation-related images.
