The provision of a display panel and a display device that allow reduced frame width. Said display panel is provided with a plurality of display elements arrayed in a matrix pattern, a signal input unit to which a signal to be supplied to the display elements is inputted, and a plurality of signal wires connecting the display elements to the signal input unit. The signal wires include lead-out wire sections, the spacing therebetween on the signal-input-unit side being different from the spacing therebetween on the display-element side. The lead-out wire sections of at least some of the signal wires are each provided with a plurality of serpentine wire sections in which the wire is laid out in a serpentine manner. Said signal wires are each provided with a serpentine wire section on the signal-input-unit side and at least one wider serpentine wire section, the widths of which are set to fit the spacing between the parts of the lead-out wire sections that are spaced further apart.
