-The present invention concerns an ironing soleplate (1) comprising a soleplate body (10) made from aluminium having an outer ironing face formed by a hard base (11) comprising aluminium oxides, the hard base (11) having an intermediate layer (13) carried by the soleplate body (10) made from aluminium and an additional layer (14) formed on the intermediate layer (13). -According to the invention, the hardness of the additional layer (14) is greater than the hardness of the intermediate layer (13). -The present invention also concerns an iron comprising a soleplate (1) of the abovementioned type, and a method for obtaining an ironing soleplate.
